At the co-op we have a strong commitment to our community. Through our Community Outreach Department, we coordinate lectures, community events, classes, picnics, potlucks, wine tastings and more. These events are listed each month in the Organic Press newsletter as well as posted throughout the store.

The Community and School Gardens Project was started in 2009 to encourage our local school children to know where their food comes from. The co-op worked to install organic gardens at three elementary shools and provided classroom materials to supplement their learning. We will be continuing this project later this year.
