Co-ops are independent, democratically operated small businesses owned by the members that support them. Co-op member/owners vote in the Board of Directors to be the voice of all who shop there, and ensure that the Co-op continues to operate based on it’s community guidelines and principals. Owners get discounts and patronage refunds alongside this deeper role in their community grocery store!

Owner Basics — Each month products that households need most are offered to owners at a special price. Look for the Owner Basics signs throughout the store on products like cereal, milk, eggs, bread, toilet paper, soap & more!
Owner Appreciation Discount — Once each month owners can use a 5% discount on any one transaction. Your choose which day!
Wellness Discount — When shopping the Wellness Department, choose 3 items from the shelves and receive 20% off supplements and body care automatically at the register.
Patronage Refund — In profitable years, owners receive a patronage refund at the end of the fiscal year based upon individual yearly purchases.
Special Order Discount — Receive a discount when placing special orders for cases and bulk items.
The Organic Press — Receive a subscription to our monthly newsletter mailed to your home or email address.
Co-op Connections — Find this list in the Organic Press and below. It contains area businesses that offer a discount to HCC owners. It includes services like plumbing, retailers, spas and many more!
Becoming an owner is easy and affordable — rates start at just $25 per year, per individual until you reach the full Common Share of $250.00 at which time you are an Owner for life!

All New Ownerships require that a signed agreement be turned in at the registers. We cannot accept payment online for new ownerships at this time, so please stop in and sign up next time you check-out in the store!
